Talk to a Tech:

Here's what some of our customers are saying about us!

"Our relationship with NetSource One goes beyond network and communication installations and maintenance. Whenever the Diocese has asked for help supporting any of our charitable endeavors, NetSource has been quick to step up. I am looking forward to continuing the relationship we share with NetSource One for many more years."

Dave Platko
Technology Coordinator
Catholic Diocese of Saginaw

"We as the Lodge have quite a few systems and therefore many vendors to deal with. Some are easier to work with than others. NetSource One is one of the highlights!

The speed and quality of service of yours is something other companies should look up to."

Joi Philipp
IT Manager
Bavarian Inn Lodge

"They offer a wide range of service that is critical to our bank.  We rely heavily on them for all of our IT needs, and ensuring that we comply with State and Federal regulations.  The products they offer and use are innovative and continue to keep up with our ever changing technological needs.

As Tri-Star Trust Bank continues to grow, NetSource One is a critical partner for success.  Knowing this allows us here at Tri-Star Trust Bank to rest assured that we will be cared for properly."

Kay L. Cooper
Tri-Star Trust Bank
Director of Operations

"I want to thank you and your team for the support you have been providing during our software upgrade. NSO has been right on top of things and has provided excellent service even when it (software issues) was a surprise to both of us.  We appreciate the help you have given us when last minute things have come up.  Thank you."

Wineman Technology Incorporated

"Please forgive my delay in writing this note.  I have been doing earthquake disaster relief in Grand Goave, Haiti and only returned home late last week.  During the month or September and the beginning of October, Mark Bleshenski did a major overhaul of our web site.  Due to changes in my job, I no longer have as much time to work on our web site and especially our home page.  I asked Mark to create a home page that would automatically pull in new web pages I create on the site.  I also asked for our Facebook web page to be integrated with our web site.  Mark went above and beyond what I dreamed.   The site is wonderful and the home page is doing exactly what I requested and more.  Our members are delighted with the new look and we have been getting rave reviews.

Mark is great to work with, always taking my calls and listening to me thoughts and requests.  As a company we have been with Netsource One since (I think) 2001 (maybe it was 2000).  Part of the reason for our loyalty is Mark and his ability to take our dreams and turn them into reality.  His easy going style and his attention to detail are so important.

Just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know how much we appreciate Mark, his work and your company.  Blessings and take care,  Mark"

Rev. Mark
Regional Pastor For Mission & Communication
American Baptist Churches of Pennsylvania and Delaware

"This is twice in less than a week we had to make a call for help, that you staff went above and beyond what was asked and that by itself says a great deal about your staff. You should be proud of the staff that you have and let them know that others notice.

Please let them know that we really appreciated their help and action every time we call."

Jim and Ken, Bay Arenac ISD

"Thanks Ed for your continued help in keeping things on track. I really appreciate your valuable input and I feel good knowing you've got our needs in mind and that you're looking out for us."

Locky Email Virus Spreading Like Wildfire

Stop Threats Before They Hit the Network

As some of you may know there is a devastating email virus spreading like wildfire. The Malware is called “Locky”. It is disguising itself as an email attachment and has been using various file types (Word Doc, Excel, ZIP, PDF and etc.). Once you open the attachment Locky Malware can encrypt 164 different file types. Locky encrypts files on all fixed drives, removable drives and also on RAM disk drives. The hackers are after your money, they are trying to get users to pay them to remove the virus, do not follow payment instructions or give your personal information!!!

How to reduce risk of being infected:

  • Use an advanced email firewall service such as Barracuda
  • As always, don’t open suspicious attachments (e.g. .doc, .xls, and .zip files)
  • Keep recent backup copies of important data in a secure place either online or offline
  • Ensure that your system and applications are fully updated and patched
  • Disable Microsoft Office macros by default and never enable macros in strange/unknown attachments that you receive via email

We have been seeing a large increase of the message types on our Barracuda Anti-Spam filter over the last 72 hours. Our Barracuda Anti-Spam filter is currently catching the emails and attachments for all of our Anti-Spam customers, but everyone is still at risk until the threat is fully detectable. For those who are unaware the Barracuda Email Security Gateway is integrated with a cloud-based service that pre-filters email before delivery to the onsite Barracuda Email Security Gateway. The Cloud Protection Layer is continuously updated with definitions in real time from Barracuda Central. In addition, Barracuda’s global cloud infrastructure provides the flexibility to handle email surges during specific periods of the day and during Denial of Service attacks. For our clients who do not use Barracuda or other spam firewall please contact us with any questions or concerns.
